Alvarado, tinanghal na Ulirang Ama

LUNGSOD NG  MALOLOS- Pinarangalan si Gob.Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado bilang isa sa mga Ulirang Ama para sa taong 2012.

Kasama ni Alvarado sa kategoryang government service sina Nueva Ecija 4th District Representative Rodolfo W. Antonino, Butil Party-list Representative Agapito H. Guanlao, Albay 3rd District Representative Reno G. Lim, Cainta (Rizal) Mayor Ramon A. Ilagan, at Puerto Princesa City Mayor Edward S. Hagedorn.

Ipinagkaloob ito ng National Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Foundation, Incorporated sa Centennial Hall ng Manila Hotel noong Linggo kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Father’s Day.

Sinabi naman  ni Customs Commissioner Rozzano Rufino “Ruffy” Biazon, bilang kinatawan ni Pangulong Benigno S. Aquino III, na kinikilala ng punong ehekutibo ang mahalagang papel ng mga ama ng tahanan sa pagtataguyod ng bansa.

 “Every single Filipino family must be a role model to raise a descent and good family life. We will see to it that no one will be neglected of benefits and concern from the government,” wika ng pangulo sa kanyang mensahe.

Kabilang sa mga tumanggap ng parangal sina Jose Pepito DG. Manio, Sotero Romualdo Esguerra, at  Bernardo Canlas Pamintuan, Justice Isaias P. Dicdican, Prosecutor General Claro A. Arellano, at Judge Florencio S. Arellano (Law and Judiciary), Dr. Nestor F. Venida (Medicine and Allied Sciences), Ramon A. Diaz (Arts and Culture), Alan Lagos Allanigue at dating Congressman Adolfo ‘Gerry’ R. Geronimo (Media and Journalism), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group chief Police Director Samuel Pagdilao Jr. (Law Enforcement)at Victor Bunuan Valdepeñas, Rodolfo Toledo Yaya, Cornelio P. Mapa, and Roberto Reyes Laurel (Business and Industry).

Iginawad naman ang Ulirang Ama ng Tahanan kay Leopoldo Lagadia Jaramiel, at ang Ulirang Ama ng Angkan kina  Floro R. Yabyabin at Angelo David Hizon Jr.
