An act of moral strength was shown by Edralin Alagano last January 13 as he committed himself to bring service excellence in his job as a mall security guard in SM City Baliwag.
SG Alagano of Knight Hawk Security Force Inc. was doing his usual rounds in the parking lot when he noticed a black pouch lying on the ground. The recovered pouch was immediately brought to the Customer Relations Service (CRS) Office for report and proper documentation.
Meanwhile, Manolito San Jose of Barangay Tangos went to the mall’s CRS Office to inform of his lost pouch which contains a total of P47. 650.00 worth of cash and dated checks. Upon verifying that the recovered item was truly of San Jose’s, it was returned to his possession and commended the honest guar
Similar stories of honesty by mall personnel of SM City Baliwag include that of SG Trinidad Quintana and comfort room attendant Verna Santa Quirante. In 2009 Quintana returned P2.5M worth of cash and checks while Quirante recovered almost P25,000 worth of cash back in May of 2011.
